Benedictine College Library Project Officially Breaks Ground
New State-of-the-Art Facility to Open in 2025
College Breaks Ground on September 23
Benedictine College is pleased to announce the official groundbreaking of its new library, scheduled for September 23. The state-of-the-art facility is set to open in the fall of 2025 and will provide students and faculty with a modern and spacious learning environment.
The new library will span 53,000 square feet and feature a variety of amenities, including study rooms, collaboration spaces, and a dedicated technology lab. The design of the library is inspired by classical architecture and will complement the historic campus buildings.
The project is funded in part by a $4 million gift from an anonymous donor. The gift is a testament to the importance of academic excellence at Benedictine College and the need for a modern library to support the growing student body.
"We are thrilled to break ground on this new library," said Benedictine College President Stephen Minnis. "This facility will be a transformative addition to our campus and will provide our students with the resources they need to succeed."
