Real Madrid Crowned Champions of Europe Once Again

Dortmund Push Real to the Limit in Thrilling Final

Goals from Carvajal and Vinicius Jr. Secure Victory

WEB Real Madrid have triumphed in the UEFA Champions League for a record 15th time, overcoming a valiant challenge from Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium. The Spanish giants rode their luck at times, but ultimately their quality shone through in a thrilling final.

Dortmund, making their first appearance in the final since 2013, started brightly and caused Real Madrid all sorts of problems in the first half. Erling Haaland had a goal ruled out for offside, while Jude Bellingham and Giovanni Reyna both came close. Real Madrid, meanwhile, struggled to create clear-cut chances, with Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr. both well-marshalled by the Dortmund defence.

However, the game turned on its head in the second half. Dani Carvajal broke the deadlock with a stunning strike from outside the box in the 64th minute. Just six minutes later, Vinicius Jr. doubled Real Madrid's advantage with a clinical finish after being played through by Benzema. Dortmund pushed hard for a way back into the game, but Real Madrid held firm to secure their fifth Champions League title in nine years.
